WASH Friendly School And Community
The WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) program aims to create and maintain “WASH-Friendly Schools and communities” that have safe and healthy environments, including adequate facilities for hygiene and sanitation that allow children to be healthier and more attentive.
Since it is estimated that fewer than half of the schools in the world have access to safe drinking water, and even fewer have access to adequate sanitation, this situation is critical.
Through WASH program, we construct boreholes, install rainwater catchments, give out water purifiers and establish hand washing stations for the schools and communities in rural areas of Uganda.
