Sponsors are heroes. As a sponsor, you and your family can write letters to a specific child and watch them grow over the years as you develop friendship with the person whose life you are changing.
- $30 to provide a child with basic support of meals, clothes and medical care for a month
- $35 to provide a child with school support not limited to fees, books, pens, uniforms and reading materials for a month
- $65 to provide a child with both basic support and school support for a month
- $780 to fully sponsor a child annually.

Story
Aaron was found with his brother Robert in 2020 starving in their parent’s house, their father died of HIV and their mother abandoned them before the death of their father because she learnt that he was affected (HIV positive) the two children were left in the house alone without anything to use, they lived on people’s mercy, survived on neighbors’ sugar cane from the garden, later on their story got to our attention by one of our friends known as Rebecca Gladden and we were able to send our rescue team to investigate, the two boys had become malnourished and were taken to jinja main hospital for rehabilitation and after months their health restored and they were discharged and enrolled into our children’s home program.

Story

Story
Kirabo Precious Jazmin and her mother were referred to World for Life on 15th 2 2022 by a pastor who had offered them refuge, for support and protection. The reason for the referral of this child was followed by the pathetic situation that this child and her mother were going through after child’s would be father aggressively dismissed her mother from the house when he learnt that she was expectant.

Story:
Florence and his family lived a bar in the same vicinity with World for Life officials, regular misunderstanding and brawls between the parents forced the Florence’s mother to abandon the home. World for Life intervened and convinced Florence’s father to surrender her to WFL care tentatively after the mother had left. This was done to help the child recover from traumatizing and unhospitable life and ugly scenes of bar life that could ruin her life.

Cissy joined us 2021, was spotted by our executive director who used watch with her grand mother every day, cleaning the public toilets in the morning, fetching water for the neighborhood in the afternoon and selling roasted maize in the evening hours to find what to use at home, Cissy had missed the opportunity to be in school since she was spending a lot of her time working with her grandmother, Cissy is now enrolled into our children program and she was taken back to school.

Story
Hellen was referred to World for Life by her elder sister Bukenya Gladys for education support. This was after the father of the two fell seriously ill to the extent of permanently getting bedridden for three years till he finally passed on. Both parents were jointly fending for the welfare of the family including education but with the death of the father whose treatment was so costly in terms of care and financial input, the mother is unable to continue supporting the daughters continue with their education.
