We need volunteers to work with WFL stateside director in the USA to bring awareness to model of change happening in Uganda. Whether you are retired, in school, working or on vacation, we welcome volunteers of all ages.

    Assist with mailings, meeting preparations, offer guidance on how WFL expand its impact and more.

    Support special events by helping to plan, set up, cleanup and hosting of fundraising events

Venture Program

World for Life (WFL) venture program exist to expose participants to the WFL mission so that they may utilize their skills, resources and relationships to accomplish the vision of a establishing a loving, caring and a secure family environment where children’s needs from education, healthcare, shelter and food are met. Trips usually last two to three weeks.

Interested in using your skills and expertise at WFL for a longer period of time? You might be a good fit for a support staff position.

What Will You Do?

The WFL venture program offers you opportunity to know the children and community you have heard about, to meet the in-country staff who are faithfully impacting the communities and to become part of the global movement of people who are committed to partnering with these staff members and community leaders in the country.  In doing so, we seek to ensure that the children are given the opportunities necessary to enable them to be transformed hence transforming their communities.

Our wish is that our children will become your children and their needs become your needs. True transformation requires a movement of people.

Start A Team – Become A Team Leader

You can start your own venture team by applying to serve as a team leader, gathering a group of people from your church, school, workplace and community to form a venture team.

Join A Team – Become A Team Member

You can join an existing WFL venture team or team leaving from your church or community. WFL can connect you with the team leader who will consider your application and help you prepare for the trip.

Types of Venture Teams

Participate in a team project that focuses on evangelism, discipleship, pastoral training, youth ministry, children’s ministry and more

Provide medical care, dental care, trauma counseling, health education, imparting health habits, proper hygiene techniques, reproductive health and positive lifestyle choices that will aid in the progress of overcoming the cycle of poverty and disease.

Learn about our in-country programs and experience how WFL is nurturing children who will impact their communities. Meet WFL staff, visit community schools, hospitals and community beneficiary families and ask questions to discover how you can partner with us.

Participate with an education team that equips and empowers children to become responsible and productive contributing citizens. Train and mentor local teachers, provide curriculum and teach strategies and techniques that will strengthen and improve education practices.

Work on a construction project that allows WFL to provide safe and reliable children’s homes, medical clinics, community development centers and other facilities.

Be a part of a team project that focuses on providing sustainable development initiatives like clean water, agriculture, renewable energy or micro enterprise. Help give communities the tools and resources that allow them to thrive.

Participate with a team that focuses on promoting girls football by providing training equipment, teaching new skills, practice with the players, inspire and motivate players, nutrition, sports medicine, connecting players to the opportunities of international football scholarships or simply build relationships.
